COMMITMENT TO QUALITY

Hammer Nutrition product samples

HIGHEST QUALITY FROM THE START

Our dedication to "Highest Quality" has defined us for over 35 years and counting. Since day one, Brian Frank and the entire Hammer Nutrition team have never lost sight of our goal to ensure that every Hammer Nutrition product meets our demanding standards for purity, quality, and efficacy. You can be sure we’ll never sell you anything we don’t use ourselves. That’s why we’ve always backed them with our ironclad guarantee: You love the product, or we give your money back.

MADE IN THE U.S. IN TOP-TIER FACILITIES

Our focus on excellence starts with our sources. While many businesses outsource their production to overseas facilities to boost their bottom line, we're proud to say that our products are made here in the U.S. That's always been our standard. Why would we want it any other way? It ensures you that our products are not tainted with unwanted and possibly very dangerous substances.

In addition, all Hammer Nutrition products have been, and will continue to be, produced only in facilities that are GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) compliant. GMP guidelines provide a system of processes, procedures, and documentation to ensure that manufacturers meet exacting standards for quality assurance and quality control. That translates to consistency and accuracy with regards to:

  • Facilities
  • Staff
  • Safety
  • Sanitation
  • Ingredients
  • Batching
  • Processing
  • Packaging
  • Documentation
  • Shipping
  • Product Support

SQF 2000 (GFSI) CERTIFIED LEVEL 3

Hammer Gel and all Hammer Nutrition powdered fuels are produced in a facility that holds Level 3 Certification under SQF 2000.

The Safe Quality Foods Program (SQF) is recognized by retailers and food service providers around the world that require a rigorous, credible food safety management system. It was launched in Australia in 1994. Since 2004, it has been administered by the SQF Institute, a division of the Food Marketing Institute headquartered in Arlington, Virginia. Thousands of companies in North and South America, Europe, the Middle East, and in Asia have received SQF certification.

On July 1, 2013, the SQF Code, Ed 7.1 was introduced. The SQF Code Level 2 and 3 are Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) benchmarked food safety standards. Each code is divided into three levels of certification, indicating the level of development of a supplier's safety and quality systems. The three levels allow the opportunity for continuous improvement and for all sizes of companies to participate. GFSI benchmarked standards are recognized worldwide and accepted, recommended, and required by some of the largest international retailing groups.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN TO YOU, THE CONSUMER?

Companies throw the word "quality" around expecting everyone to "take their word for it." The truth is that quality is only as good as it can be proven.

In our industry, the FDA and Local Health Authorities enforce regulations only when they find breaches in compliance. They offer limited compliance guidance, even when requested. They do not certify a company's quality program as compliant and most times only point out what is wrong and issue citations and fines when they visit a facility and find compliance issues.

NSF and SQF take a different approach. They are experts in the field of Quality Assurance (QA) program development, QA program implementation, and QA program maintenance. Their guidance is based on sound principles developed by experienced professionals. Their auditing and oversight are conducted to ensure companies maintain a high level of quality. Their annual and semi-annual facility audits are quite elaborate and detail-oriented. Their audit reports point out even the smallest deficiencies require firms to isolate the root cause of deficiencies to generate corrective and preventative action plans to avoid future repeat of such deficiencies.

The company's audit responses must provide proof of correction that satisfies the auditor. Companies that do not comply risk losing their registration and certification. In summary, these self-imposed compliance audits provide QA systems that are far more proactive than the "find and fine" methods employed by the basic regulatory bodies.

WE TAKE QUALITY PERSONALLY

Our products' safety and effectiveness matter to us. After all, we use these products ourselves every day. We're athletes, too, and we care about our health. That's why we choose our products: they're of the highest possible purity, and they work! We want the same for you.
